The city of San Sebastián welcomes Nobu San Sebastián,he new hotel of the famous actor located in a magnificent Belle Époque palace overlooking the sea. The exceptional design by Tomás Alía blends Japanese culture and Basque-French style into one place.
San Sebastián takes pride in introducing Nobu San Sebastián, the latest addition to the Nobu brand in Spain, following in the footsteps of Barcelona, Marbella, Ibiza, and Sevilla. Founded by actor Robert De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and film producer Meir Teper, this luxurious five-star hotel with only 17 rooms occupies a beautiful palace built in the early 20th century, designed by the illustrious architect Francisco Urcola (1873 - 1943). Its impressive façade reflects the Basque-French style, elegantly merging with the Japanese aesthetics that characterize the Nobu brand, making it a luxurious hotel.
The project has been carried out by Millenium Hospitality Real Estate, a SOCIMI specialized in the luxury hotel sector in Spain and Portugal.
The interior design has been created by the prestigious interior designer Tomás Alía, awarded the Gold Medal for Fine Arts Merit. For him and his studio "Caramba", the hotel's design represented a significant challenge that involved merging cultures under the concepts of luxury, elegance, and refinement.
A standout feature of this project is the use of Groël handles, specifically the Ibiza model with a powercoat graphite finish, which is perfect for withstanding coastal environmental conditions.
Nobu San Sebastián presents itself as a luxury destination that combines classical elegance with contemporary sophistication, offering visitors a unique experience that blends two cultural worlds. This new hotel promises to become a landmark in San Sebastián's hotel scene, providing guests with an exceptional experience in a historic and sublime setting.
