Powercoat, life guaranteed finish
This technique is commonly known as Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). PVD is characterised by a vaporisation of a solid metal which is condensed back on the substrate as a thin layer. The process is carried out in a high vacuum chamber using a cathodic arc source.
At Groel we vaporise titanium into a ionised plasma gas which gets adhered to our lever handles and accesories. Titanium nitride coatings, in addition to being beautiful, have the highest resistance to abrasion and corrosion and are used to cover products in contact with the hand.

the product. It is shipped to the customer fresh from the oven. As the product is
used, it naturally ages hence changes its tonanilty. First it looks very shiny and clean
and then a characterisic beautiful orange hue will start appearing. Natural brass is
a noble material that fives with you.

Our ecologic trhialent chrome Cr(III) finish grants a 15 years resistance guarantee
Both satin and polished surface finishes are protected against corrosion and daily
use. While chromium metal and Cr(III) ions are considered non-toxic, the
commonly used hexavalent chromium COO, is toxic and carcinogenic.
By 2030, it will be mandatory to use Chrome Ill: why the wait? At grail we picked
